Fun but too hot

I’ve watched the Mayors Cup competitions before but this is first year I played. I have 2 observations. First, though I signed up for womens 3.0, which was the lowest level, it was obvious most of the other teams were 3.5. Thus we got beat very easily and rarely scored any points. It was very discouraging and not fun. Maybe have a 2.5 division, and encourage people to play at their own level, and not “play down”. Second - it’s HOT in July. Why are we playing in July when it’s still 90 at 5:00? Why not move the tourney to September or May when temps are reasonable? With temps and air quality a major concern, let’s think about moving to a better time. It’s really tough to play back-to-back games when it’s that hot! And some of us are older and it’s a concern!
