Nor-Cal Think Pink Golf Classic Waiver & Release of Liability
Refund & Cancellation Policy
For the 2025 event year, participants may request a full refund, minus transaction fees and any donations, by submitting a written request via email to events@californiasporting.com on or before March 31, 2025. After this date, all registration fees are non-refundable.
If the event is postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of nature, smoke, public health concerns, or other unforeseen safety issues—registration will automatically roll over to the rescheduled date or the following year’s event, which is intended to take place on the same weekend of the following year. If government regulations require a reduction in participant capacity, registration will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Any registrants exceeding the new capacity limit will have their registration deferred to the next available event.
Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Nor-Cal Think Pink Golf Classic, I, the undersigned participant, understand and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with athletic events and voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, property damage, or loss that may arise before, during, or after the event.
I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge Nor-Cal Think Pink, California Sporting Company, LLC, its directors, members, owners, volunteers, sponsors, the City of Redding, the County of Shasta, and all affiliated entities, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action, including those resulting from negligence, that may arise out of or relate to my participation in this event. This release applies to injuries or damages sustained before, during, or after the event, including but not limited to those caused by course conditions, equipment failure, weather, or the actions of other participants.
Additionally, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless all aforementioned parties from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from my actions or participation in the event.
Media Release
By participating in the Nor-Cal Think Pink Golf Classic, I grant Nor-Cal Think Pink, California Sporting Company, LLC, and their partners the unrestricted right to use my image, likeness, and voice in photographs, videos, or other media taken during the event for promotional, marketing, or advertising purposes without compensation. I understand that these materials may be used in print, digital, or social media platforms and waive any rights to review or approve their usage.
Acknowledgment & Agreement
By signing below (or completing my registration online), I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this waiver. I understand that this document is legally binding and affects my rights.
